I am Canadian and our government federally legalized weed. Repealed minimum sentences for drug and firearm charges for users/dealers/smugglers. The result, a 562% increase in overdose deaths over the last 25 years. I would rather see law dogs hot on the heels of evil 24/7 filling our prisons to the maximum and building new ones. Less people died back then.
